PLATFORM is excited to host an Active Research Lecture with curator Scott Fitzpatrick, Winnipeg Film Group Executive Director Leslie Supnet, and writer Madeline Bogoch on 16 January at 7 PM.

Join exhibition curator Scott Fitzpatrick, Winnipeg Film Group Executive Director Leslie Supnet, and arts writer Madeline Bogoch for a discussion on how the "We're Still Here" archival exhibition project came to be, some of the thinking and curatorial strategies behind shaping the show, and what the future holds in store for materials held in the WFG archive.

Along the way we'll entertain questions about privacy, consent, redaction, narrativization, historicization, standards of care, and some of the many potential avenues left unexplored by the show. With elements of show and tell, this semi-formal chat and presentation will invite questions from the audience and attempt to probe just a little deeper into the 50 years of boxes and baggage behind the Winnipeg Film Group.
