PLATFORM centre and FLASH photo festival are excited to co-present a caffenol developing workshop. The caffenol mix develops black and white film while using instant coffee, vitamin C and washing soda to replace chemicals that are traditionally used in developing agents. Madelyn Gowler will walk you through this step-by-step process and participants will leave with a fully developed roll of black and white film.

Participants are asked to bring up to two rolls of either 35mm or 120mm film for development. All other materials will be provided.

This workshop is generously sponsored by Parlour Coffee and Crumb Queen.  All participants will be offered coffee and crullers before entering the darkroom for developing.
