You are invited to join in the inaugural festivities at Platform, as we hold our first exhibition in our new main floor location in the Artspace building. The members’ show promises to be big and exciting as we have received an overwhelming response to our call for submissions.

OPENING RECEPTION | 7:00pm Aug 13, 2004

EXHIBITION | Aug 13 - Sep 03, 2004

In addition, we will host a member drive on the night of the opening reception. During this time, yearly memberships will be offered at reduced rates. User memberships entitle members to regular mail-outs, personal invitations to our exhibitions, borrowing privileges from the resource centre, and access to darkrooms as well as our new media equipment. During the opening reception, we will have our new media equipment (including an Epson photo-quality printer) on display. As well, we will offer tours of our darkrooms upon request.

During the month of August, Platform will be operating out of its new space on the main floor, as well as its current location on the second floor in the Artspace building. For one month only, there is twice as much photographic work on display—so take advantage of it! The joint exhibition by Chris MacDonald and Andrew Forster runs until August 28 in our current space in Room 218. If you have not already seen this stunning exhibition please be sure to come by soon. If you have already seen it, come by again (once is never enough).
