Please join us for a summer reading group led by PLATFORM's 2024/25 Curator in Residence, Camilo Londoño Hernández (COL/GER) in conjunction with un lento atardecer de verano, our current group exhibition at PLATFORM.

WHEN: 6 PM, 25 June, 2025

WHERE: Munson Park, 475 Wellington Crescent

Together we’ll explore Beyond the Senses: Perception, the Environment, and Vision Impairment by Karis Jade Petty, thinking through questions of embodied perception, sensory ecologies, and how we come to “see” beyond visual dominance. This conversation invites participants to engage with themes at the heart of the exhibition: blindness as radical perception, collective visuality, and the politics of sensing the world differently.

Open to all — no prior reading necessary. Come ready to listen, discuss, and feel your way through the text. Participants are not required to hold an active PLATFORM membership to participate.

Please RSVP in advance through our Google Form. A PDF copy will be sent out in advance of the reading group.
