office 2000, an exhibition of large-scale colour photographs, depicts usually inaccessible office building interiors lit up at night while the business remains quiet.  Knebühler provides the viewer with a voyeuristic glimpse into the business sector in an urban landscape by taking photographs from high above street level within another building, allowing the camera and the viewer direct access into the windows of the lit up fish bowl.  Almost totally devoid of people, office 2000 provides the stuff of an archeological dig; remnants of the inhabitants are evident through personal effects, humanizing the otherwise generic and mundane office environment.

OPENING RECEPTION | 7PM, 16 September

EXHIBITION | 16 September - 29 October, 2005
